The Heckler & Koch VP9 Tactical is a premium German-engineered striker-fired 9mm pistol designed as a suppressor-ready evolution of HK’s successful VP9 platform. Introduced as a more duty-oriented and tactical variant, the VP9 Tactical keeps the same excellent ergonomics and reliability of the standard VP9 while adding features that make it ideal for professional use, suppressed shooting, and defensive applications. It features a cold hammer forged threaded barrel, extended to accommodate suppressors and muzzle devices, along with suppressor-height sights that allow the pistol to be used effectively with a suppressor attached. Like the original VP9, the Tactical model uses HK’s proven Browning-style short recoil operating system and incorporates many design elements from the Heckler & Koch P30, including its highly adjustable grip system with interchangeable backstraps and side panels. This gives shooters one of the most customizable factory polymer grips available, allowing the pistol to fit a wide variety of hand sizes.
