Manufactured by Henry Repeating Arms, the Henry Model H024-35 is a modern interpretation of the classic American lever-action rifle, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary functionality. (also referred to as the H24 Signature Series, Side Gate Lever Action, and the Cowboy Carbine) Chambered in the venerable .35 Remington cartridge, this side-gate lever gun combines the timeless styling of historic brass-framed rifles with the practical advantages demanded by today’s hunters and shooters. Introduced as part of Henry’s acclaimed Side Gate series, the H024-35 offers the best of both worlds with both a traditional removable tube magazine for safe and easy unloading and a side loading gate for quick reloads and topping off the magazine without breaking shooting position. The rifle features a polished hardened brass receiver paired with a 20-inch round blued steel barrel with a 1:16" twist, delivering excellent balance, durability, and dependable accuracy on deer, elk, and other large game at practical hunting distances up to approximately 125 yards. Enhancing its classic appearance are rich American walnut straight-grip buttstock and forend furniture, both adorned with deep checkering for improved control and handling in the field. Sighting equipment consists of a ramp front sight with a .062" ivory bead and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with diamond insert, while the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics compatibility using a Weaver 63B mount.
 
Additional features include a brass buttplate, transfer bar safety system, factory swivel studs, a 14-inch length of pull, an overall length of 38.3 inches, and a weight of approximately 7.5 pounds.
