The pistol is constructed around an ergonomic, Flat Dark Earth (FDE) fiber-reinforced polymer frame featuring an integrated accessory rail for tactical lights or lasers, a squared trigger guard for gloved use, and a choice of four interchangeable backstraps to customize the grip. Completely ambidextrous right out of the box, the P2000 features dual slide release levers and a paddle-style magazine release to ensure easier manipulation from either side. Its rugged slide is machined from a single block of nitro-carburized steel and treated with a black Hostile Environment finish, while housing a 3.66-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with a polygonal bore profile for muzzle velocity and barrel longevity.
