The AMT AutoMag III is a unique and innovative semi-automatic pistol designed to bring magnum-level performance to a traditional autoloading platform, making it one of the more distinctive handguns produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Manufactured by Arcadia Machine & Tool (AMT), the AutoMag III is chambered in .30 Carbine, utilizing the high-velocity military cartridge originally developed for the M1 Carbine to achieve impressive ballistic performance from a handgun. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the pistol features a single-action operating system, a rotating bolt with a gas-delayed blowback mechanism, and a seven-round detachable magazine. Its long barrel and substantial weight help maximize velocity while reducing recoil and muzzle rise, enabling it to deliver excellent accuracy and significant downrange energy. The AutoMag III quickly developed a reputation for its distinctive appearance, powerful cartridge, and uncommon chambering, setting it apart from conventional semi-automatic pistols of its era. Although production numbers were relatively limited, surviving examples have become increasingly desirable among collectors due to their all-stainless construction, unique engineering, and connection to the famous AutoMag series. Today, the AMT AutoMag III remains a fascinating and highly collectible handgun, appreciated for its unconventional design, historical significance, and status as one of the few production pistols chambered in .30 Carbine.

Any orders placed with magazines that are not compliant with your state, county, or city regulations will not ship with your order.
