Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
As the legendary company that originally birthed Eugene Stoner’s AR-10 and AR-15 designs, the resurrected ArmaLite brand of Geneseo, Illinois established the gold standard for high-accuracy match-grade rifles throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Built around precision-forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, the ArmaLite M15A2 combines faithful military-style A2 upper receiver geometry with target-grade engineering. Featuring an integrated carry handle housing a fully click-adjustable target rear aperture sight, a rigid 20-inch heavy match-contour barrel, a custom multi-port target muzzle brake, and classic OD Green furniture, the M15A2 offers a timeless blend of classic Cold War rifle ergonomics with pinpoint competitive shooting performance.
This specific example is an authentic Geneseo-manufactured ArmaLite M15A2 semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO, bearing serial number US43500. Outfitted in eye-catching target configuration, it features a 20-inch heavy match barrel with a multi-port muzzle brake, integrated A2 carry handle with ArmaLite-marked elevation dials, full OD Green composite A2 stock, handguard, and pistol grip, and a trapdoor stock compartment. The matte black anodized aluminum and OD Green furniture surfaces present in pristine, excellent condition throughout, showing minimal sign of handling wear and razor-sharp receiver roll-marks. Mechanically, the bolt assembly cycles smooth as silk, lockup is tight, the trigger breaks clean, and the 20-inch heavy barrel bore is mirror-bright with sharp rifling. Complete with one (1) 30-round FN USA steel STANAG magazine, this ArmaLite M15A2 represents a flagship addition for AR-15 purists and competitive match shooters alike.
