Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Renowned as one of the most practical and user-friendly pocket pistols ever designed, the Beretta Model 21A Bobcat combines small-frame concealment with Beretta's famous tip-up barrel architecture. This unique design allows shooters to load a round directly into the chamber without needing to rack the slide—making it an ideal choice for individuals with limited hand strength or those seeking effortless operation. Built with a lightweight alloy frame, steel slide, exposed hammer, manual frame-mounted safety, and double-action/single-action trigger, the Bobcat delivers time-tested Italian engineering in a compact, American-made sub-compact platform.
This specific example is an authentic Beretta U.S.A. Model 21A Bobcat chambered in .22 LR, bearing serial number DAA351481. Finished in factory matte black with black checkered polymer grips, it features a 2.4-inch tip-up barrel, manual safety lever, and fixed sights. The factory matte finish and polymer grip panels are in clean, excellent overall condition with minimal signs of handling. Mechanically, the tip-up barrel release operates smoothly, the double-action and single-action triggers break crisp, and the 2.4-inch barrel bore is mirror-bright with sharp rifling.
