Its distinctive Y00001Y serial number identifies it as the very first unit processed in a specialized "Y-Gun" refurbishment program, where factory technicians inspect and certify surplus firearms for re-release. While the physical pistol is decades old, the 2025 date and "20" date code reflect its modern "rebirth" in Beretta’s digital archives and its final factory proofing.
