The Beretta 92FS is one of the most recognizable and successful military and law-enforcement pistols of the modern era, produced by Beretta as the flagship evolution of the Model 92 series. Chambered in 9×19mm, the 92FS is a full-size semi-automatic pistol built with an aluminum alloy frame and steel slide, combining durability with manageable weight for duty use. Its most distinctive feature is the open-slide design paired with Beretta’s falling locking block system, which promotes exceptionally smooth cycling, reliable feeding and ejection, and a notably soft recoil impulse compared to many competing service pistols.
