The Grade 2 production started in 1875 before the grading system was adopted, and it sold for $80 (80 Dollar grade). As Parker introduced the named grades, they named Grade 2 guns E, F, G, H, EH, and GH. The GH and EH describe Grade 2 hammerless Parkers, and the other names describe Grade 2 hammer guns. *SOLD* 1914 Parker Bros Trojan 12 Ga Blue 30" *CLASSIC DOUBLE-BARREL SHOTGUN*

The Trojan was first produced in 1912 and was Parker's attempt to get into the less expensive market at a sales price of $25.50. To keep the costs down, in an effort to appeal to the "average" man, no customer options were offered on the Trojan.
