This Classic Arms "Twister" is a classic example of the vintage, do-it-yourself muzzleloading black powder pistol kits that gained immense popularity in the United States during the 1970s and 1980s. Utilizing a dual-barrel, smoothbore over-under configuration chambered in .36 caliber percussion, its most distinctive mechanical feature is a central pivot system that requires the user to manually rotate the 3 3/8-inch blued steel barrel block 180 degrees to align the second ignition nipple with the single-action hammer after the first shot is spent.
