The Colt Lightweight Army Commander (O4540XSE) is a highly desirable, single-action, semi-automatic 1911 pistol built on a lightweight alloy frame and chambered in the flat-shooting, high-velocity .38 Super Auto caliber. Originally shipped on August 11, 2017, as an exclusive Talo Distributor release, this model was intended as a limited run of 600 pistols in the unique Lightweight Commander Series 70 configuration; however, only 300 have been produced to date, making it exceptionally rare.
