Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this percussion revolver today for a penny-start auction; this is the Colt Signature Series 1861 Navy 3rd Generation “Custer Edition."
The Colt Signature Series 1861 Navy 3rd Generation “Custer Edition” is a highly desirable commemorative revolver that combines historical inspiration with refined craftsmanship. Produced in limited numbers, it features classic .36 caliber percussion operation, traditional Colt markings, and detailed factory scroll engraving throughout. The serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard, and barrel assembly. The backstrap has a Sam Colt signature. The left of the trigger guard is marked “36 CAL”. The butt is marked “871”. We were not able to remove the barrel assembly to inspect for additional markings on the cylinder or arbor. The revolver has factory scroll engraving on the barrel, lever, cylinder, frame, hammer, and grip frame.
