The Colt Special Lady was planned to be a 600-run production when Colt decided during manufacturing to cut the number to a very short run of only 250 units ever made and distributed, these have become very RARE and Highly Desirable revolvers. Introduced in 1996...this revolver was based on the Colt Detective Special with the new transfer bar safety design. Standard markings and features.
The piece has "Colt Special Lady" and ".38 Special on the left side of the barrel. It features the ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING FACTORY BRIGHT STAINLESS finish and low-profile ramp front sight and notch frame rear sight. The Special Lady sports the factory bobbed hammer with a 6-shot swing-out cylinder and shrouded ejector rod. It includes factory rubber grips with Colt Medallions.
