Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Founded in Stevensville, Montana by former Kimber gunsmiths, Cooper Firearms of Montana was established to revive the lost art of American custom-grade bolt-action rifle making. Engineered around a smooth three-lug bolt design with a short 60-degree throw, the Model 21 was built specifically for small-centerfire varmint and target cartridges. Built as a rigid single-shot action to maximize receiver stiffness and bedding consistency, the Model 21 earned an immediate reputation for extreme bench-rest accuracy, backed by Cooper’s famous 1/2-MOA factory performance guarantee. The Custom Classic trim represents the premier traditional grade in Cooper’s lineup, elevating the platform from a precision tool to a true heirloom-quality work of art. Hand-stocked in select AAA-grade Claro walnut, the Custom Classic is distinguished by an authentic hand-turned African ebony forend tip, elaborate pointed Fleur-de-Lis hand checkering, a dished Monte Carlo cheekpiece with a crisp shadowline border, and a steel pistol grip cap. The barreled action is finished in a high-gloss factory blue, offering a mirror-like contrast against the rich, oil-finished timber. On today’s secondary market, original Montana-built Cooper Model 21 Custom Classic rifles are highly sought after by fine arms collectors and precision riflemen alike. Uniting custom-shop hand fitting with sub-half-MOA accuracy, this model bridges the gap between classic bench-rest performance and custom gunmaking tradition. Whether deployed on the varmint field or showcased in a fine arms vault, the Model 21 Custom Classic stands as an anchor-quality investment in modern American bolt-rifle craftsmanship.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3-day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
