Discontinued in 2018, the CZ 805 Bren S1 Carbine was introduced as a more accessible option for shooters who wanted the renowned Bren platform in a rifle configuration—without the added steps and legal requirements of converting a pistol variant into an SBR. This carbine version comes equipped with a 16.2" cold hammer-forged barrel, making it fully compliant as a rifle while retaining the performance and reliability associated with the Bren name. The rifle features a factory folding, adjustable stock, allowing for enhanced ergonomics and storage flexibility. A new set of flip-up, adjustable iron sights comes standard, providing users with a durable and effective backup sighting solution right out of the box. Chambered in .223 Remington / 5.56×45 NATO, the Bren S1 Carbine is compatible with standard STANAG magazines, the same magazines used in AR-15/M16 platforms. This makes magazine availability and interchangeability a non-issue for most shooters. Additionally, top and bottom Picatinny rails offer ample space for mounting optics, lights, lasers, and other accessories, allowing users to tailor the rifle to their specific needs.
