Discontinued in 2018, the CZ 805 Bren S1 Carbine was introduced as a more accessible option for shooters who wanted the renowned Bren platform in a rifle configuration—without the added steps and legal requirements of converting a pistol variant into an SBR. This carbine version comes equipped with a 16.2" cold hammer-forged barrel, making it fully compliant as a rifle while retaining the performance and reliability associated with the Bren name. The rifle features a factory folding, adjustable stock, allowing for enhanced ergonomics and storage flexibility. A new set of flip-up, adjustable iron sights comes standard, providing users with a durable and effective backup sighting solution right out of the box. Chambered in .223 Remington / 5.56×45 NATO, the Bren S1 Carbine is compatible with standard STANAG magazines, the same magazines used in AR-15/M16 platforms. This makes magazine availability and interchangeability a non-issue for most shooters.
