The BRNO Model 21H is a beautifully crafted sporting rifle that exemplifies the exceptional quality and precision for which Ceskoslovenská Zbrojovka Brno became internationally renowned following World War II. Manufactured in Czechoslovakia by BRNO Arms, the Model 21H is built on a refined Mauser-style bolt action featuring controlled-round feeding, a full-length claw extractor, dual front locking lugs, and a fixed-blade ejector, providing smooth operation and absolute reliability that have made Mauser-derived actions legendary among hunters. Produced from the late 1940s through the 1950s, the 21H was offered in several popular European and American hunting chamberings, including 7x57 Mauser, 8x57 JS, .270 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, and others, depending on export destination. The rifle features a lightweight, streamlined receiver, a slim sporter-profile barrel, and a finely fitted walnut stock with elegant European lines, excellent checkering, and quality blued metalwork that reflect the outstanding craftsmanship of post-war BRNO production.
