Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Crafted for CZ-USA by Huglu's master gunsmiths in Turkey, the Sharp-Tail Upland side-by-side series reimagines classic double-barrel shotguns with modern CNC mechanical precision. Built on a dedicated, scaled frame for sub-gauge chambers rather than an oversized 12-gauge receiver, this .410 bore side-by-side offers dynamic pointability, lightweight field balance, and ultra-fast handling. With a striking color case-hardened receiver, fine scrollwork, script "Upland" engraving, dual independent triggers, and Turkish walnut furniture, this shotgun blends classic aesthetic charm with enduring mechanical durability.
This specific example is an authentic CZ-USA Sharp-Tail Upland 5-shot side-by-side shotgun chambered in .410 Bore, produced in 2015 and bearing matching serial number 15C3173 on the barrel flats and receiver water table. Configured as a fast-handling upland bird gun, it features 28-inch barrels with 3-inch chambers, a matted raised sighting rib, dual triggers, a vibrant color case-hardened action finish, and rich, oil-finished Turkish walnut stocks. The color case-hardening shows radiant blues and straw tones, while the blued barrels and walnut stocks remain pristine, like-new throughout. Mechanically, action lockup on the breech face is vault-tight, triggers break crisp, and both 28-inch bores are mirror-bright.
