Originally produced by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken for the Argentine military, the Modelo 1909 Mauser was widely regarded as one of the highest-quality military Mauser rifles ever built, featuring exceptionally smooth machining, beautifully polished metalwork, and the legendary strength and reliability of the large-ring Mauser 98 action.
