The SIG Sauer P210 Legend represents the modern continuation of one of the most respected service and target pistols ever produced. The original Swiss P210 earned its reputation through exceptional machining, extraordinarily tight slide-to-frame fit, a superb single-action trigger, and an accuracy standard that placed it well above most military sidearms of its era. Rather than using a conventional external slide riding over the frame, the P210 employs internal slide rails that allow the slide to run inside the frame, creating an exceptionally low bore axis and a very rigid lockup. Those characteristics, combined with a precisely fitted barrel and all-steel construction, made the P210 famous among military shooters, competitive marksmen, and collectors who valued old-world European craftsmanship. The P210 Legend was developed as a modernized interpretation of that classic design, retaining the core characteristics that made the original pistol so desirable while introducing features better suited to contemporary shooters.
