The Glock 17 Gen 5 is a full-size, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol produced by Glock Ges.m.b.H., representing the latest evolution of the original Glock 17 design, first introduced in the early 1980s and since becoming one of the most widely used service pistols in the world.
