Built around Glock's second-generation (Gen 2) design, this model features the clean, un-grooved front strap geometry and classic pebble-textured frame sides preferred by many traditionalists over later finger-grooved iterations. Mechanical features include Glock's ultra-durable Tenifer slide treatment, a 4.61-inch barrel with polygonal rifling, legendary "Safe Action" trigger system, and high-capacity 13-round double-stack .45 ACP capability. This specific example bears serial number VD788US, dating its manufacture to approximately 1995. The factory black Tenifer slide and Gen 2 polymer frame exhibit honest, gentle high-edge holster wear and minor light surface marks, reflecting well-preserved service character. Mechanically, the action functions with trademark Glock reliability, the striker resets crisp, and the 4.61-inch barrel features a bright, clean bore with sharp polygonal rifling.
