Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Manufactured during High Standard's golden era at the legendary Hamden, Connecticut facility, the Model 107 Supermatic Trophy Military represents the pinnacle of American rimfire target engineering. Designed specifically with a 1911-style straight grip frame profile preferred by Bullseye competitors, the Trophy was High Standard's top-tier catalog model, distinguished by its lavish gold-plated trigger and safety controls.
Chambered in .22 Long Rifle, this Model 107 features a 7.25-inch fluted heavy target barrel engineered for optimal heat dissipation and forward balance during rapid strings. It incorporates a frame-mounted rear sight bridge that remains stationary during cycling for uninterrupted sight picture tracking, a micro-adjustable rear sight notch, undercut front target blade, gold-plated trigger with overtravel stop adjustment, gold-plated safety lever, and checkered walnut target grips featuring a sculpted right-hand thumb rest.
