The Ithaca Model 37 is a classic American pump-action shotgun renowned for its smooth operation, bottom-ejection design, and long-standing reputation for reliability in both hunting and defensive roles. Manufactured by Ithaca Gun Company, the Model 37 was introduced in 1937 and was originally based on the John Browning–designed Remington Model 17, though Ithaca refined and modernized the design into what would become one of the most enduring shotguns of the 20th century.
