The Kel-Tec KSG is a 12-gauge pump-action bullpup shotgun introduced in 2011 by Kel-Tec CNC Industries, designed around a highly unconventional dual magazine tube system. It uses two separate 7+7 (or 6+6 depending on shell length) tubular magazines located beneath the barrel, fed through a manual selector switch that allows the shooter to alternate between tubes or dedicate one to different load types such as buckshot and slugs. The action is a manual pump system with a long-stroke fore-end, feeding shells into an 18.5-inch barrel while maintaining an extremely compact overall length of roughly 26 inches, giving it one of the shortest full-capacity 12-gauge profiles available without being an NFA short-barreled shotgun. The receiver and housing are built from glass-reinforced polymer with steel internal components, and the top of the gun features a full-length Picatinny rail for optics, with additional rail sections on the underside of the pump for accessories like lights or foregrips. It feeds standard 2¾-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shells, with total capacity reaching 14+1 rounds (or 12+1 with 3-inch shells) depending on configuration.
