This Kimber Classic Stainless is an early-production, full-size Government-length 1911 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Manufactured during Kimber’s highly regarded early Yonkers era, it is constructed entirely from satin-finished stainless steel for superior durability and corrosion resistance. Built with a 5-inch match-grade barrel, match bushing, and front and rear slide serrations, it features low-profile fixed combat sights mounted in dovetails for a snag-free draw. Modern 1911 enhancements include a skeletonized aluminum trigger, extended thumb safety, and an extended beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. Fitted here with aftermarket black G10 textured grips with diagonal accent cuts, this pistol offers classic all-steel 1911 ergonomics paired with the crisp single-action performance that established Kimber's reputation in the late 1990s.
