This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Custom II (457FS), bearing the serial number K460660. This model is chambered in .45 ACP and features a 5-inch barrel, a matte black finish, and wood grips.According to the remarks, this specific pistol was part of a special edition that was withheld from general distribution. Instead, it was preserved within the private archive and personal holdings of Leslie Edelman, the founder and owner of Kimber. The letter, signed by Edelman and dated February 6, 2026, confirms the firearm's release from the Kimber Vault for delivery to Bryant Ridge Co. in Liberty, Kentucky.
