Bryant Ridge Co. is proud to present a once-in-a-generation offering direct from the legendary Kimber Vault—an extraordinary collection of firearms that have never before been released to the public. These remarkable pieces include Serial Number One examples, rare prototypes, and factory display & salesman samples, ALL of which were retained internally for decades by Kimber's Founder, Owner, & CEO, Leslie Edelman.
Until now, these firearms have remained unseen outside of the company’s inner circle, making this a truly unprecedented opportunity for collectors. Each firearm will be accompanied by an official Kimber Factory Certificate of Authenticity, further solidifying its provenance and historical significance.
As the exclusive outlet entrusted with their release, Bryant Ridge Co. offers collectors a unique chance to acquire historically significant Kimber firearms with unmatched provenance and desirability.
Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this semi-automatic pistol today for a penny-start auction; this is the Kimber Desert Warrior (ODA-7233) 7th SFG(A) OEF XVIII Commemorative Serial Number #ODA7233-00!
This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Desert Warrior (ODA-7233) pistol, identified by the serial number ODA7233-00. This specific firearm is chambered in .45 ACP and is configured with a 5-inch barrel, a Flat Dark Earth finish, and Wood grips. According to the remarks, this example represents the first serialized firearm produced within its production model line, marking the official beginning of that model's manufacturing history. As with many inaugural examples, firearms bearing Serial Number One were retained within the personal collection of Leslie Edelman, founder and owner of Kimber. The document, signed by Leslie Edelman, states that the pistol was released from the Kimber Vault on February 6, 2026, and delivered to Bryant Ridge Co. in Liberty, Kentucky.
Although no official records exist for this specific prototype design, it can reasonably be inferred that this example was produced as a “Mock-Up” for evaluation against military specifications. In our research, we have not found any indications that this particular model was put into production whatsoever.

Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Kimber Desert Warrior (ODA-7233) is an elite military combat 1911 specially commissioned to honor the Green Berets of Operational Detachment Alpha 7233 (ODA 7233), 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF XVIII) in Afghanistan. Built on Kimber's full-size railed Desert Warrior platform in Matte Flat Dark Earth KimPro II, this tactical sidearm pairs a 5-inch match-grade barrel with an integrated Picatinny rail, ambidextrous thumb safeties, tactical wedge tritium night sights, lanyard loop, and custom rosewood grips carved with Special Forces, Ranger, and Airborne tab insignias. Detailed unit engravings across both slide flats and the slide top—including the official Special Forces motto "De Oppresso Liber" and the ODA 7233 team crest "Los Desconocidos"—make this an extraordinary piece of modern Special Operations history. What establishes this specific military commemorative as the absolute pinnacle of Special Forces and Kimber collecting is its inaugural prototype serial number and direct executive vault lineage. Bearing serial number **ODA7233-00**, this example represents the very first "Serial Number Zero / Inaugural Release" produced for the entire ODA 7233 deployment line, marking the official beginning of its production history. Retained directly in the private holdings of Kimber Founder, Owner, & CEO Leslie Edelman and preserved in the executive Kimber Vault until its release on February 6, 2026, this factory-certified "Serial Number Zero" release comes accompanied by its factory-labeled hard case and signed COA letter. An irreplaceable, museum-tier crown jewel for any advanced 1911, Special Forces, or Serial Number Zero collector!
