The Kimber EVO SP TLE is a compact striker-fired 9mm pistol designed to combine the concealability of a modern everyday-carry handgun with the premium materials and refined styling for which Kimber Manufacturing is known. Introduced as part of the EVO SP series in 2019, the TLE—standing for “Tactical Law Enforcement”—represented Kimber’s renewed attempt at a striker-fired defensive pistol after the earlier Solo series. Unlike many competing concealed-carry pistols that rely on lightweight polymer frames, the EVO SP TLE uses an aluminum frame paired with a stainless steel slide finished in a durable black FNC coating, giving the pistol a more solid feel and improved recoil control despite its compact dimensions.
