The Kimber R7 Mako (OI) is an optics-installed, micro-compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm and engineered from the ground up for reliable daily carry. Built on a durable polymer frame with a serialized steel central block, this handgun features a molded stippling finish and an ultra-slim width of 1.0 inches at the grip. It handles versatile ammunition loads via an adaptable magazine capacity offering both a 10-round flush and a 10-round extended setup. For smooth operation and tracking, the slide is constructed from rugged stainless steel and protected by an FNC finish, which rides smoothly over an internal Captured Recoil Spring Assembly. To ensure a pristine, rapid-sighting picture, the top of the slide is equipped with a factory-installed optic and high-visibility iron sights, hosting 3-Dot TruGlo Tritium Pro Night Sights w/ an Orange front ring and White rear rings that seamlessly co-witness with a Crimson Trace CT-1500 optic featuring a 5 MOA Red Dot. Operational security is driven by a specialized trigger featuring a built-in trigger safety, regulating the action to a crisp factory setting with an approximate pull of 5.5 - 6.75 pounds. 
 
This consistent mechanism supports a 3.37-inch stainless barrel engineered with a precise 1:10" left-hand twist rate. Collectively, these components form a highly optimized defensive platform, establishing an incredibly compact length of 6.20 inches, a height of 4.3 inches measured 90° to the barrel, and an exceptionally light weight of 19.5 ounces without a magazine.
