This Kimber Factory Letter documents a Kimber Stainless II (Texas Edition) pistol, identified by the highly significant serial number TXE0001. Chambered in .45 ACP, this model features a 5-inch barrel, a stainless finish, and Bonded Ivory grips. The document highlights the firearm's historical importance as the very first serialized unit produced within its standard production line, marking the official beginning of that model's manufacturing history. As with many inaugural examples, this "Serial Number One" firearm was originally held in the private collection of Kimber's founder and owner, Leslie Edelman.
