Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Boasting the longest continuous production run of any shoulder-fired weapon in history, the Marlin Model 39A is widely celebrated as the "Aristocrat of 22s." Tracing its ancestry directly to the Model 1891 designed by John Marlin, the Model 39A combines solid forged steel receiver construction, an effortless take-down mechanism, and Marlin's famous Micro-Groove rifling system for matchless rimfire precision. Designated as the "Original Golden 39A," this refined variant features a distinctive gold-plated trigger, gold-accented hammer extension option, full-length 24-inch barrel, cross-bolt safety, and rich American walnut furniture featuring sharp factory cut-checkering and a white-accented grip cap. Manufactured in North Haven, Connecticut, this 39A handles .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges interchangeably through its high-capacity tubular magazine, delivering unmatched cycling speed, heirloom craftsmanship, and legendary American shooting heritage.

Outfitted in complete factory presentation trim, it features a 24-inch Micro-Groove barrel, full-length tubular magazine, deep blued finish, gold-plated trigger, cross-bolt safety, hooded ramp front sight, adjustable folding semi-buckhorn rear sight, tapped receiver top for scope mounting, and crisp cut-checkered American walnut stock and forend. The deep factory blued finish and checkered walnut furniture present in pristine, near-mint overall condition throughout, displaying clean roll-stamps, sharp checkering diamonds, and spotless, reflective metal coverage. Mechanically, the take-down lever action cycles with glass-smooth speed, lockup is vault-tight, and the 24-inch Micro-Groove barrel bore is mirror-bright with razor-sharp rifling.
