The Olympic Arms MFR lower assembly (Multi Cal) is an AR-15 pattern lower receiver assembly produced by Olympic Arms, one of the earliest major American AR-style firearm manufacturers. Olympic Arms built a reputation for innovation in the AR market, producing receivers, rifles, pistols, and caliber conversions during the growth of the modern AR platform. The “CAL MULTI” marking indicates the lower was intended to accept compatible AR uppers in multiple chamberings rather than being restricted to a single caliber marking. Olympic Arms was also known for producing forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and contributing several early AR design developments, including flattop receivers and caliber conversions.
