The Remington Model 6 is a classic early-20th-century single-shot rolling-block rifle that combined simplicity, portability, and rugged reliability into a lightweight sporting firearm intended for small-game hunting, farm use, and recreational shooting. Manufactured by Remington Arms beginning in the early 1900s, the Model 6 was essentially an improved and modernized version of the earlier Remington Rolling Block rifles that had earned worldwide fame for their strength and simplicity during the late 19th century.
