Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Introduced in 2008 by Sturm, Ruger & Co., the LCP (Lightweight Compact Pistol) revolutionized the personal defense industry by setting the ultimate standard for micro-compact concealed carry handguns. Engineered around a lightweight glass-filled nylon frame housing a blued alloy steel slide and barrel, the LCP offers an ultra-slim, snag-free profile designed for deep concealment. Utilizing a double-action-only recoil-operated mechanism with an internal hammer, the platform delivers exceptional point-and-shoot reliability in a package weighing less than 10 ounces. Revered by law enforcement professionals as a backup firearm and by civilian carriers nationwide as the gold standard in pocket defense, the Ruger LCP remains one of the most successful commercial handguns in modern firearms history.
This outstanding example is an authentic Ruger LCP sub-compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 ACP, out-fitted in a factory Crimson Trace Laserguard edition setup (Model 03718), bearing serial number 371272470. It features a 2.75-inch barrel, factory matte blued slide finish, high-impact black glass-filled nylon grip frame, a trigger-guard mounted Crimson Trace LG-431 red laser sight with Instinctive Activation, an installed Techna concealed carry belt clip, and includes a specialized leather pocket holster designed specifically for the laser-equipped profile. The factory blued and matte polymer finishes present in pristine condition throughout, displaying crisp roll-marks and clean physical surfaces. Mechanically, the action cycles smoothly, the Crimson Trace laser activates crisply upon natural grip presentation, and the 2.75-inch barrel bore is mirror-bright with razor-sharp rifling. Complete in its original factory serialized box with owner's manual packet, Crimson Trace installation literature, adjustment keys, factory lock, flat extension magazine floorplate, and one (1) factory 6-round magazine, this Ruger LCP offers a turnkey concealed carry package ready for personal defense.
