The 12-gauge Red Label is widely considered by clay shooters and waterfowl hunting enthusiasts to be an all-around powerhouse—offering robust construction, pointability, and exceptional balance. Built around a stainless steel monobloc receiver frame mated to blued ventilated rib barrels, an automatic safety/selector mechanism, automatic ejectors, and a fine checkered American walnut stock, the 12-gauge Red Label is an ideal shotgun for target clays and field hunting.
This specific example is an authentic Ruger Red Label 12-gauge over/under shotgun, bearing serial number 411-32384. Outfitted in prime sporting configuration, it features 28-inch ventilated rib barrels chambered for 3-inch 12-gauge shells, a brushed stainless receiver frame, single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, screw-in choke system, and a select checkered American walnut stock and forend fitted with a black rubber recoil pad. The factory brushed stainless receiver and blued steel barrel surfaces present in excellent, pristine overall condition throughout, exhibiting high-luster metal, sharp stampings, and minimal handling character. Mechanically, the action breaks open crisp and smooth, lockup is rock-solid with the top lever resting far right of center, triggers trip crisp, and both 28-inch barrel bores are mirror-bright.
