Introduced by Sig Sauer in 2013 and discontinued in 2019, the P227 brought the proven design architecture, legendary balance, and indestructible reliability of the iconic P226 into the high-power .45 ACP cartridge class. Engineered w/ a double-stack alloy frame that accepted 10-round and extended 14-round magazines, the P227 provided shooters w/ the high capacity of modern polymer handguns while retaining the solid, confidence-inspiring feel of Sig's metal-framed DA/SA hammer-fired combat pistols.
