The Smith & Wesson Model 629-4 Mountain Gun is a highly sought-after variation of the legendary N-frame .44 Magnum revolver, designed specifically for outdoorsmen who needed the power of a magnum revolver in a lighter, more easily carried package. Introduced in the mid-1990s, the Mountain Gun features a 4-inch tapered barrel reminiscent of the classic Model 1950 Target profile, reducing weight while maintaining excellent balance and handling.
