The 2-inch heavy barrel variant offers the ideal combination of K-frame strength and compact concealability, making it a timeless personal protection sidearm.

This exact revolver, serial number BDB8391, was manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts circa 1988–1989. Chambered in .38 Special with a 6-shot cylinder, it features a 2-inch heavy barrel, deep factory blued finish, color case-hardened spur hammer and serrated trigger, and original checkered walnut service grips with gold S&W medallions. It comes paired with a fitted vintage black leather belt holster (stamped 440-1). Presenting in excellent original condition throughout with deep glossy bluing, tight cylinder timing, crisp DA/SA action, and a mirror-bright bore, this S&W Model 10-9 2" snubnose package is a premier choice for self-defense carry or classic Smith & Wesson revolver collections.
