Manufactured between 1990 and 1996, the Smith & Wesson Model 2206 is one of the most uniquely engineered rimfire target pistols ever produced by S&W. Built entirely from stainless steel for both the frame and slide, the 2206 features a low-bore-axis design where the fixed barrel is positioned lower in the frame beneath the recoil spring assembly rather than above it. This unique architecture drastically reduces perceived muzzle flip and recoil movement during rapid target strings. Outfitted w/ a crisp single-action trigger break, micro-adjustable target sights, and a fixed barrel that aids inherently tight accuracy, the Model 2206 remains a highly sought-after rimfire handgun.

This specific example is an authentic Smith & Wesson Model 2206 bearing serial number VAC3559. Chambered in .22 LR, it features a 4 1/2-inch fixed stainless steel barrel, satin stainless finish, micro-adjustable target sights, and factory black one-piece composite grips. The pistol comes complete w/ its original factory serial-matching blue box, factory customer reply questionnaire card, and two (2) factory S&W steel 10-round magazines. Displaying clean stainless metal surfaces, sharp frame edges, a mirror-bright bore w/ crisp rifling, and smooth mechanical action, this complete boxed S&W 2206 is a fantastic addition for rimfire collectors and target shooters alike.
