Engineered with a lightweight black anodized aluminum frame and a double-column magazine housing 14 rounds, the Model 59 revolutionized law enforcement duty pistols and ushered in the era of the modern American wonder-nine. This specific example bears serial number A628401, placing its production in approximately 1980 toward the end of the 1st Generation S&W semi-auto production era. Outfitted with a deep factory blued steel slide, lightweight anodized alloy frame, smooth custom hardwood grip panels with gold S&W medallions, slide-mounted safety/decocker lever, and windage-adjustable rear sight, this pistol displays outstanding overall condition. The blued slide retains rich gloss with minimal high-edge wear, while the frame geometry remains crisp throughout.
