The Smith & Wesson 1911ES is a premium full-size semi-automatic pistol that blends the classic design and operating system of the traditional 1911 platform with modern manufacturing techniques and enhanced defensive and competition-oriented features. Manufactured by Smith & Wesson, the 1911ES—often standing for “Enhanced Series”—was designed to provide shooters with a refined, factory-custom version of the legendary John Browning 1911 while maintaining the accuracy, ergonomics, and crisp trigger pull that made the platform famous for more than a century.
