The M 98 controlled round feed bolt action system is a design that was created by Paul Mauser and patented on 9 September 1895. It is a simple, strong, safe, and well-thought-out design that inspired other military and hunting/sporting rifle designs throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. The Mauser 98 Action is one of the most famous actions ever designed and is known for its reliability. This particular Mauser 98-style bolt action features a Blue finish and Timney Trigger, allowing the user a light trigger pull.
