U.S. World War II Remington Model 03A3 Bolt Action Rifle. This is an excellent example of a WWII production rifle as manufactured by the Remington Arms Company. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3" over the serial number. The rifle has the correct barrel bands, trigger guard and follower. It has the military style rear sight and high blade front sight with a cover that is marked with "flaming bomb/U.S." on the left side. The receiver and barrel are green parkerized while the remaining metal parts are blue. The stock and handguard are both walnut.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Remington is in excellent condition showing no evidence of regular consumer use or handling that we can see!
