This is a Winchester Model 94 Carbine with a 20” barrel chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Made in 1956, this rifle is still in Very Good condition retaining about 90-95% of its metal finish, a great stock and forearm with only micro scratches, a nice bore and strong mechanics. Carbines like this one are fast handling and capable of fast shot strings as compared to a bolt action with a long barrel. In addition, carbines are light, easy to carry, and don’t have a tendency to snag on every bush you pass. This could make someone a great deer rifle that can also be used on black bears, but will also interest Winchester collectors. Whatever your interest in this rifle, it’s a true American classic!
