Sako rifle that was made for the 50th anniversary of the company in 1971-1972, 1,000 rifles were made in this commemorative edition. The Eurpoean Walnut Stocks were hand selected for figure of beauty, fitted with Exotic Wood Forend Tip and Grip Cap, set off by White Line Spacers, Grip Cap inlayed with Blank Gold Medallion for Name Engraving. The perfectly executed Hand-Cut Checkering is bordered by Fine Hand Carving in the Traditional Oak Leaf Motif, which is repeated in Hand-Cut Engraving in Lold Leaf and Gold Acorn Designs on the Receiver, Trigger Guard, and Floor Plate. All Hand Wxecuted by Master Finnish Metal Craftsmen. Metal Surfaces are Highly Polished to a High Gloss and Expertly Blued to provide the Deepest, Most Brilliant Lustrous Blue Finish, with attached Sling Swivels.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Sako is in Excellent condition showing no indications consumer use or handling that we can see! Additionally, it will come with the factory labeled box.
