This 100 year commemorative was manufactured in 1973 with the 7-1/2 inch barrel in a civilian configuration. It is a faithful recreation of the original revolver that was made famous by siding the 1873 Winchester chambered in .44WCF. From the etched panel on the left side of the barrel marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER", black powder frame, bullseye ejector rod and the black gutta percha grips. “THE COLT'S FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER” and identified as being a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the .44 WCF cal. single action revolver.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Colt is in PHENOMENAL condition showing no evidence of consumer use or handling that we can see whatsoever! "more than likely New Old Stock" Additionally, it will ship with the original presentation case, plaque, case key, and paper.
