Dakota has taken the best two features of these two actions, incorporated additional performance and safety measures, and combined them with unmatched fit and finish to produce a rifle that was destines to become a classic in its own time.
This is a Model 76 Safari Grade bolt action rifle from Dakota Arms. Dakota made their way into the rifle market producing high-quality rifles at “affordable” prices, though their quality means that affordable is in relation to rifles such as Blaser, Cooper and other high-end manufacturers. Beginning in 1982, they have been known as one of the top makers of bolt action rifles ever since. This example wears a 23" barrel chambered for .416 Rem. with a gorgeous Special Selection Bastogne Walnut Stock and matte blue finish.
