The Browning X-Bolt Medallion Bolt-Action Rifle provides the reliability and accuracy Browning rifles are famous for in a superbly finished firearm that's both a practical hunting rifle as well as a work of art. The X-Bolt Medallion features a high-grade walnut stock, with rosewood caps on the fore-end and pistol grip, with a durable gloss finish that brings out the beauty of the wood and protects it from the elements. Detailed checkering enhances the rifle's good looks while providing a non-slip surface for the shooter's hands.
The modern Inflex Technology recoil pad reduces recoil and ensures the butt doesn't slip from the shooter's shoulder. A high polished blued receiver and barrel add to the traditional elegance and feel of the rifle. A free-floated, target-crowned barrel, glass bedded receiver, and Browning's Feather Trigger™ deliver precision accuracy. (Trigger adjusts from 3 to 5 lbs.) The steel receiver is drilled and tapped with a 4-screw-per-base design to ensure a secure and stable placement of the optic sight. 3 locking lugs provide exceptional strength and a short 60º bolt lift that cycles smooth and fast, while keeping a wide margin of space between your hand and the scope sight. A detachable rotary magazine feeds cartridges directly in-line with the bolt instead of feeding offset as with conventional magazines. The Browning X-Bolt Medallion Bolt-Action Rifle also features a top-tang safety with a bolt unlock button that allows you to open the bolt for loading or inspecting with the tang safety in the safe position.
