The CZ 75 SP-01 is a full-size handgun (4.6” barrel) that incorporates advanced manufacturing technology and ergonomic improvements from the NATO-approved CZ 75 Compact P-01. It features a 1913 accessory rail on the dust cover, rubber grip panels, and a corrosion-resistant black polycoat finish. The SP-01 is part of the CZ 75 family, known for its SA/DA platform, and benefits from an extended beavertail and enhanced grip geometry for better control and a more secure hold. The grip features checkering on the front and back straps, while the redistribution of mass from the accessory rail reduces perceived recoil, improving accuracy and target transition speed. Designed primarily for military and law enforcement use, the SP-01 is currently employed by security forces in counter-terrorism operations. Its exceptional accuracy and handling have also made it popular in the sport and target shooting communities, with notable users including World Champions Adam Tyc and Angus Hobdell, who placed 1st and 3rd in the 2005 IPSC World Shoot XIV.
