The Scarab Skorpion was an American pistol that was designed and produced by Armitage International from 1989 to 1990.
Very few of these firearms were made (approx. 600) so they are quite collectible. If you are looking for an obscure and interesting addition to your collection, this is a solid option!

The Scarab Skorpion was an American pistol that was designed and produced by Armitage International from 1989 to 1990. The Scarab Skorpion was a basic blowback-operated, self-loading pistol loosely based on the Czech Škorpion machine pistol, from which it took its name. Although the Scarab Skorpion externally resembled the original Czech gun, internally it differed in that it used a single overhead guide rod instead of two, and fired in semi-automatic only. The bolt used by the Scarab Skorpion was a basic rectangular block. The gun was largely constructed from sheet metal. The barrel was threaded to accept SIONICS suppressors. The build quality and overall reliability of the Scarab Skorpion is reported to have been poor. The Armitage International Skorpion Scarab is a U.S. made pistol designed to resemble a VZ 61 Skorpion. They are not known for their reliability, but very few of these firearms were made (approx. 600) so they are quite collectible. If you are looking for an obscure and interesting addition to your collection, this is a solid option.
